Welcome Back to School Everyone!!!!!

And the First Place Trophy goes to............................
Last June for the first time Readers Realm members received trophies for reading the most books and receiving the best scores on quizzes.

Second Place was Vasiki!!!!

Third Place was Mohammed!!!!!!

We congratulate all of them on reading for the fun of it because they were not aware that prizes were being awarded.

The Readers Realm Book Club Application Assignment is due tomorrow by the end of the day. Unfortunately, due to the number of applicants I will not be accepting any assignments after September 23rd. Please do your best to hand it in by 9th period.

Book Club

We have recently completed another John Green book Looking For Alaska. It was highly rated by our Book Club members and we are looking forward to our Spring trip to see our one of our early selections of this school year. We are going to see the movie based on The Fault In Our Stars.
We are reading our last selection for this school year which is the blockbuster Divergent. For those of us who have not seen the movie, we plan on watching the DVD during Book Club early next school year.

Book Club Catching Fire Trip

Last month Reader's Realm Book Club took a trip to see Catching Fire on opening day. We had a lot of fun, first we ate at Cheeburger Cheeburger then we saw the movie which all of us thought was great.

We are currently reading Hate List by Jennifer Brown
Book completion and discussion date are scheduled for January 24th.
